Andrew has worked with schools, academies, East Sussex county council departments and other organisations on a range of issues, including whole school ICT reviews, information governance and subject leadership. As a CEOP Ambassador and member of the Local Safeguarding Children’s Board he has also shown a strong commitment to e-safety. He has been a key player in leading the effective creation and implementation of the local authority’s strategy for ICT and has planned and implemented innovative programmes of intervention, support and advice, based on an analysis of needs and linked to national and local priorities for ICT in the curriculum. This has included video conference projects, the trialling of WebEx, delivery of courses on Control and programming and the promotion of Web 2.0 technologies.
